Enriching the cultural experience of the guests of Rahman by employing Al-Sadu in the design of contemporary printed textile hangings
The aim of this research is to enrich the cultural experience of the guests of Rahman by employing Al-Sadu in the design of contemporary printed textile hangings by employing the decorative units of Al-Sadu in the design of contemporary printed textile hangings that carry the originality and modern character, and the importance of the research is due to highlighting the cultural heritage of Al-Sadu, and directing attention towards the investment of heritage Saudi Arabia aims to enrich the cultural experience of the pilgrims by employing them in contemporary designs for textile hangings printed in the lounges of airports, trains, hotels, and in the places that the pilgrims pass through on their religious journey, in addition to developing the designer’s competence, motivating him, encouraging his creativity in design, and investing in the cultural heritage stock to revive the heritage and sustain it for generations. The research followed the descriptive analytical approach by making (5) proposed designs in which the decorative units of the sadou were used. The designs were evaluated by specialists, numbering (12), and the results reached the success of the designs in employing the decorative units of the sadou and their ability to enrich the cultural experience of the guests of Rahman. The research recommended the creation of artistic design methods A new one that helps enrich the cultural experience of pilgrims.
