Abstract
The research is directed to study the heritage identity of the city of (Shibam Hadhramaut), where the association of the word (Shibam) with Hadhramaut is due to the dominance of this name on Wadi Hadhramaut, which is the largest valley of the Arab Peninsula, in an effort to root the personal features of the heritage identity of the vocabulary and elements of the interior design of the dwelling in the city of Shibam in Hadhramaut; The importance of the research is determined by the analytical study of the heritage identity of the vocabulary and elements of the interior design of the dwelling in the city of Shibam Hadhramaut in Yemen, as it is a realistic problem that the city of Shibam Hadhramaut suffers from cracks and the collapse of parts of some of its mud buildings; UNESCO in 2015, on the list of endangered during this current stage, by determining the value of the city of (Shibam - Hadhramaut) as a cultural dimension in the history of Yemen and has an impact on the formation of its human heritage, which the research seeks to revive; The research tended to study and analyze the vocabulary and elements of the interior design of the dwelling of the city of Al-Shibami in Yemen, and accordingly, the research has reached the revival and documentation of a good design system in the internal space of the Al-Shabami dwelling in Yemen with a vision that achieves the heritage identity in order to preserve its human heritage.
