Developing the Basic Model of Women's Trousers and Measuring its Fitting and Conformity Using Artificial Intelligence Applications
Assistant Professor, Department of Clothing and Textile, Faculty of Home Economics, Helwan University
Abstract
The artificial intelligence has become the most important product of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and it has uses in various fields, including industry, economy, science, technology, medical care, education, and services, and artificial intelligence technology has entered the fields of the fashion industry,In parallel with that, artificial intelligence has entered the fields of model design using artificial intelligence applications, including mobile applications, Where the producing companies have developed artificial intelligence tools new technologies based on translating measurements into models (patterns, where the designer can enter measurements of the human body into the tool and then the tool generates the model in the form of image, and including measurements on all lines of the model, and these tools enable the designer to obtain proposals for the basic model of the upper and lower part There is no doubt that the paper model, which is the first step in the implementation of any piece of clothing, depends on the success or failure of the design, which serves as the blueprint for the clothed piece and the basis for its construction, mastery of drawing the model leads to the success of the clothed piece and vice versa. (Majda Mamloun Selim: 2018) Due to the importance of models in the clothing industry, the basics of their preparation are important, and require a high degree of accuracy, efficiency, experience and talent to master them in a professional and Fitting manner, as they contain many technical and skill aspects (Carolyn, L.Moore: 2001).
The study (Medhat Abu Hashima - Doaa Siddiq: 2022) dealt with adjusting the upper part of the corsage using the mobile application "" JSK Patrones" This prompted the researcher to complete the lower part of the women's pants model and take advantage of the application in preparing the models because of its advantages, including speed and ease of use Where the body sizes are entered for him, the program divides them in less than a second, giving a detailed plan of the dimensions of each part of the women's pants , and through the experimental preliminary study of the program, samples were carried out for different sizes from small to large, and it was found that the model needs to be adjusted and modified to be in line with the woman's body, until it is approved as one of the artificial intelligence applications using mobile phone applications, Which can be used in building models and applying them to be used at the individual level and also in ready-made clothing factories and owners of small and medium enterprises, in addition to providing graduates of faculties of home economics, beginners and those interested in ways and methods of building these models with the least possible time and effort and the highest levels of quality , as the application provides the effort made for mathematical operations for dividing measurements to draw the pattern and put its dimensions, Based on the above, the research problem can be identified with the following questions: 1-What is the possibility of building the basic model of women's pants using artificial intelligence applications represented in the mobile application "JSK Patrones "? 2- What is the level of control, Fitting and comfort of the model drawn in the" JSK Patrones " mobile application for sizes (36, 40, 48) for women's pants? 3- What is the possibility of evaluating the models implemented for women's pants for sizes (36-40-48) drawn in the mobile application " JSK Patrones "? : Research Methodology: This research followed the descriptive approach to evaluate and modify the model of women's pants, the experimental approach to its suitability to verify the degree of Fitting and the amount of comfort of the modified model. Research Limitations: The study was limited to: - 1- The basic model of women's pants prepared using a mobile phone application "JSK Patrones "in sizes (36-40-48) to evaluate the degree of Fitting and the amount of comfort for each of the front, back and side. 1- Implementation of the previous models on the Damor cloth in which the basic guidelines are shown.
: Research Objective
The research aimed to evaluate a proposal to draw the model of women's pants using artificial intelligence applications through the mobile phone application "JSK Patrones "and implement it on the fabric sizes (36, 40, 48) to identify the extent of its Fitting and conformity to the lines of the body and the amount of comfort, and make the necessary adjustments to the model, has been presented to specialists to verify its measurement and adjustment, using an estimation scale to evaluate the model and the modifications made to it. Results: - The basic model of women's pants was built for the three sizes (36-40-48). - The samples carried out on the cloth (the initial sample) were evaluated by the specialized professors through the assessment scale prepared for that, and it was found that there are some points that need to be modified on some parts of the model. The researcher implemented the necessary adjustments to the models for sizes (36-40-48) and implemented on the fabric again (the final sample) and was evaluated by the same professors' evaluators of the initial sample of the assessment scale of estimation prepared for that and show the success of the model in terms of Fitting and matching body lines and the amount of comfort. The validity of the hypotheses was confirmed, which stipulated that there are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the initial and final sample of women's trousers carried out with the three measurements (research limits) using the application "JSK Patrones "has achieved a high degree of accuracy and Fitting of the various measurements from highest to lowest (research sample) after making some adjustments, and through the experience of the researcher and the opinions of some specialists, she returned to some important points in the application, namely: Relying on drawing the model on some measurements and not adding an important measurement, which is measuring the length of the stone, which led to some defects in the stone area in the three sizes (research sample) Failure to add comfort to peripheral measurements, which led to not Fitting the comfort of the model on the body. The results proved the validity of using the mobile application " JSK Patrones" to build the basic women's pants model with some modifications to achieve a high degree of Fitting and conformity, and one of the most important recommendations is to benefit from the technological revolution in the field of artificial intelligence at all stages of clothing production.
