Assistant Professor in Clothing and Textile Department, Faculty of Home Economics, Al-Azhar University,
Abstract
Small projects are one of the important pillars of the economic and social development process due to their economic return and their role in providing job opportunities and achieving an increase in the volume of investment, as they contribute to improving income, absorbing numbers of labor, whether skilled or unskilled, reducing unemployment, and they have the largest role in meeting the needs of society for goods and services. small projects are characterized by high flexibility in developing and disseminating their products in addition to the low cost of products, and in order for SMEs to succeed in a society, they must be characterized by diversity and productive integration in order to be the nucleus of larger projects than the future. The fields of small projects vary in many crafts and fields, including the manufacture of clothing supplements, the human desire to adorn is an innate desire for beauty and adornment and a way to express his personality and beliefs, and supplements have a significant impact on the appearance of clothing, as it represents additions that increase the attractiveness of clothing and increase the individual's self-confidence, and clothing supplements are one of the arts that can be implemented with different materials and in a variety of ways, taking into account the design lines and the appropriate materials and executive methods. The knitting machine is one of the tools used in the production of clothes in general, with the possibility of changing the dimensions of the piece produced according to the increase or decrease in the number of needles used in operation, as well as the diversity in the stitches used, s.so the researcher saw the possibility of using it in the production of separate supplements, which may benefit the owners of these machines from the diversity in the products implemented on them instead of being limited to the production of cloth. Statement of the Problem 1. What is the degree to which specialists accept the designs of supplements implemented using a home knitting machine to support small projects? 2. What is the degree of acceptance of consumers for supplement designs implemented using a home knitting machine to support small projects? 3. What is the correlation between the opinions of specialists and the opinions of consumers in the designs of supplements implemented using a home knitting machine to support small projects? Significance 1- Utilization of yarn residues in production 2- Shedding light on different products for those who own a home knitting machine instead of limiting it to the production of clothes only 3- Providing the local market with clothing supplements with different materials throughout the year Research Objectives The research aims to design and produce clothing supplements on a home knitting machine to serve small projects. Research Hypotheses 1. There are statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) between the evaluation of specialists for the designs of the supplements implemented to achieve the evaluation aspects (foundations and elements of design, aesthetic, functional aspect, utilitarian and economic aspect) 2. There are statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) between the evaluation of consumers for the supplement designs implemented to achieve the evaluation items. 3. There is a correlation between the opinions of specialists and the opinions of consumers in the designs of the implemented supplements Delimitations 1- Home knitting machine Guag 5 2- Polyacrylic yarn equivalent to 28/4 3- Design and production of separate supplements that include two groups, the first group (contracts) with the use of some auxiliary materials such as beads and wood beads, and the second group includes (shawl, collar and scarf) Research Tools 1- A questionnaire to evaluate the supplements produced addressed to specialists in the field of clothing and textile 2- Questionnaire to evaluate the supplements produced directed to consumers Research Methodology The research follows the experimental approach Keywords: home knitting machine – separate accessories – small projects Results 1. The best designs implemented in achieving the foundations and elements of design No. 16) of the designs of the second group and the least is (design: No. 3) of the designs of the first group. 2. The best designs implemented in achieving the aesthetic aspect (design: No. 16) from the designs of the second group and the least in achieving the aesthetic aspect is (design: No. 12) from the designs of the second group < /p> 3. The best designs implemented in achieving the functional aspect is (Design No. 4) of the designs of the first group equally with the designs No. 10 and No. 17 of the designs of the second group and the least in achieving the functional aspect is (Design: No. 12) of the designs of the second group < /p> 4. The best designs implemented in achieving the utilitarian and economic aspect (design: No. 1, No. 17) and the least in achieving the utilitarian and economic aspect is (design: No. 12) 5. The best designs implemented in achieving the evaluation aspects (as a whole) (design No. 16) of the second group designs and the least in achieving the evaluation aspects (as a whole) is (design: No. 12) of the second group designs 6. The order of the axes of evaluation of specialists for the designs of the implemented supplements is the utilitarian and economic aspect, followed by the foundations and elements of the design, followed by the functional aspect, followed by the aesthetic side 7. The best types of designs implemented are the designs of the second group followed by the designs of the first group of contracts. 8. The existence of a correlation between the order of both specialists and consumers in the designs of supplements, where the value of (t = 0.781) the first group, which is statistically significant at the level of significance (0.01), and in the designs of the second group reached the value of (t = 0.612), which is statistically significant at the level of significance (0.05), as for the designs of the implemented supplements (as a whole), the value of (t = 0.624), which is statistically significant at the level of significance (0.05), meaning that there is compatibility between the evaluation in scientific and practical terms.
