The role of a movable library as a cultural and promotional interface inside academic institutions (Applied Study)

Abstract

The research deals with the movable library within academic institution as an attractive idea for undergraduate students within a distinct design framework and a specific implementation plan to provide knowledge, cultural and promotional services to the university that benefit students and the university alike.
The idea of the movable library came as an advanced type of libraries that can be disassembled and installed to make it easier to move from one place to another with a simple design and distinctive lines and colors. It is equipped from the inside with shelves and cabinets to accommodate an appropriate amount of books and scientific references, in addition to an internal office with a device that includes an electronic databas, and it has been provided with an external display screen to display documentaries and promotional videos for programs in the university or in scientific conferences, and it can also be used in any other marketing or advertising purposes for the university or academic institution, in addition to some activities Entertainment, literary, lectures and workshops, and is considered the first idea of its kind now in Egyptian universities.
