A lot of furniture nowadays ends up in waste while it still has a functional value, many of the furniture products that are now discarded are still usable and can be used for many more years, however furniture is replaced mostly for aesthetic reasons, which represents a burden on the low-income, and makes it worth thinking about new ways to reduce the waste of furniture products, and with the global shift towards a circular economy, some organizations can recover the residual value of furniture products through renovation, by repairing them or re-manufacturing them and reselling them, and individuals can also recover the same value by reusing them again after being renovated. Research problem: The research problem is summarized in the high prices of new furniture for low-income people in the Arab Republic of Egypt, which leads to an economic burden on the user and prompts us to find solutions by answering the following question: - What is the impact of furniture renovation on the decrease in per capita consumption from a circular economy perspective? Objectives:: Providing new models for entrepreneurship and potential economically viable experiences that can be used in the Egyptian furniture industry to make it environmental and economically competitive. Converting used furniture into new furniture by treating it using decoupage technique, thus solving a large part of the problem, as this method saves approximately 5 times the cost of new furniture. Research importance: Environmental importance: Reducing the environmental problem caused by reuse of discarded furniture products. - Economic importance: taking advantage of the economic impact of the renewal process on the cost of production and then the price of the final product. Research assumes: - The concept of circular economy can be applied to furniture products in Egypt. - There are statistically significant differences between the samples that were implemented in achieving the economic, functional and aesthetic aspect, according to the users' opinions. Research sample: 1- 20 pieces of furniture that have been renovated using the decoupage style 3- 20 arbitrators (the users of refurbished furniture) - Research Methodology: - The descriptive and experimental method was used to reveal the effectiveness of the independent variable . Experiment Methodology - Reaching out to the sectors where furniture waste can be found, to which the circular economy concept can be applied through renewal. - Conducting experiments to renew these products with different methods of decoupage technique and reuse them. - Seeking the opinions of specialists and users in the result of the experiment. - Measuring the economic profitability of renewing and reusing. Results : The study found statistically significant differences between the samples that were implemented in achieving the economic, functional and aesthetic aspect, according to the users' opinions The best design in achieving the evaluation aspects (as a whole), according to the views of specialists and users was number five, and the lowest design achieved in the achievement of aspects of evaluation (as a whole),was design No. (12)
