Abstract
Over the past few years, there are many fields in which augmented reality has been applied through entertainment, culture and digital arts. With this rapid development of augmented reality in modern technological practices, there are a need to ask what augmented reality means as a new method of artistic expression and how it can enrich the creative field.
The research aims to re-evaluate the possibilities of augmented reality for artistic expression in the current age and the ability to generate new ways to perceive the recipient or user and to highlight the ambivalence of the user in interpretation as a major feature of the augmented reality(AR) art.
The research also discusses the implications of the future use of augmented reality in art resulting from the possibilities and problems to continue the artistic creativity in this field, Included visual space and sensory and interactive methods
The results of the study indicate the real interaction in (AR) art is the empowerment of machines for expression between the participant and the (AR) works, in addition to the changing role of the participant in the artworks also augmented reality art allows the user to express himself through the work itself and also enables new forms of representation.
