Abstract
Studying the effectiveness of an instructional program that seeks to develop knowledge and skills of jewellery design using computer programs is extremely important, as it aims to open new job horizons for women in the labour market, in line with the Kingdom's 2030 vision. The research problem can be formulated in the three questions: What is the proposed perception of the instructional program in designing jewellery using computer programs? What is the effectiveness of the instructional program in the students ’acquisition of the knowledge and skills included in the program? What is the attitude of female students towards learning to design jewellery using computer programs? The study aims to design an instructional program in jewellery design using computer programs. Then measure the effectiveness of a proposed instructional program using software. Computers in teaching jewellery design skills. As well as measuring the students' attitude towards learning the proposed instructional program. The importance of this study is that it is a service to the community and a solution to problems by developing university curricula and supporting them with new technical and utilitarian methods using computer programs. That contribute to supporting small enterprises with new ideas in order to meet the challenges of the times and contemporary local and global changes by qualifying the technical personnel trained in jewellery design to enrich. This study is a practical aspect for those who teach courses on designing accessories for clothing and jewellery and small business owners. In the current study, the researcher relied mainly on the experimental approach, as it aimed at studying the effectiveness of an instructional program in designing jewellery using computer programs, and then judging the designs executed by the students in the program by specialists using the scale of appreciation to achieve the research objectives and verify its hypotheses. The results proved the effectiveness of the instructional program using computer programs in raising the level of female students in the cognitive and skill test of female students in the Department of Fashion and Textile - Master's level. The research also emphasized the importance of design using computer programs and its role in the instructional process, which is consistent with a set of previous studies that dealt with design using computer programs. This study was also distinguished by an instructional program  in designing jewellery. as there have been no studies dealing with this topic and teaching it through the use of computer programs.
