Abstract
The art of embroidery is one of the first hand-minute arts known to man since ancient times, is one of the main sources to give different effects and textures to the surface of the fabric. And with increasing global and local interest in environmental issues and the importance of preserving it, the call was for the necessity of paying attention to re-operating environmental waste as it is one of the most important environmental issues for many countries of the world including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is making a great effort at the present time to solve this problem. And from this waste the remains of different fabrics from garment factories, that Kingdom is currently making a great effort to benefit from it in several ways, because it is of great importance in economic development. This research aims to produce bedspreads with innovative designs for newborn babies using the manual embroidery method and the use of fabric residues to achieve aesthetic and functional values in the designs of innovative bedspreads under research to help support the relationship between local social development centers in the region of Hail. The research methodology is based on the experimental approach by conducting technical and applied experiments and employing them in producing ten innovative design ideas suitable for children's bedspreads, and the descriptive approach using the analytical study to achieve the goals of the research and verify its hypotheses. The study yielded some results, the most important of which were the appropriateness of innovative designs under research, including manual embroidery techniques for the early childhood (from the cradle stage - until the age of two years), also the aesthetic aspects of the design  have achieved distinction and modernity, as well as the requirements for job performance for the purpose developed for it (fit of material and textile structure used), also the possibility of benefiting from the computer was  realized in the design process and in creating designs that are implemented by hand embroidery and suitable for children's bedspreads, that corresponds to the requirements of the Saudi community and can be used as a model for small projects to develop the local community in the Hail region, of Saudi Arabia.
