Abstract
A study of the history of fashion is a documentary source that reflects the life aspects of any country, which shows the extent of civilization progress for peoples. Undoubtedly, civilization in the modern era does not depart from its manifestation from being a continuation and development of the manifestations of previous civilizations, and the problem of research is determined by the fact that there are many clothing items in museums that tell periods Important historical in our civilization through the different ages is threatened with extinction as a result of the foot, it needs to preserve it with the features and characteristics of color, material and decorations by implementing clothing pieces that simulate historical clothes and carry the same features of color, material and decorations to preserve the heritage character of fashion. Research Objectives: - Studying the shirt design through different historical eras. Executing designs that mimic the design of the shirt in the Pharaonic, Coptic and Islamic era. Reviving the cultural heritage of historical clothing in museums so that they can be sold to tourists as souvenirs. To achieve the goals of the research, 11 proposed designs were prepared from three different Egyptian eras (the Pharaonic era - the Coptic era - the Islamic era) that mimic the design of the shirt in those eras with all the original Egyptian heritage in order to preserve the heritage, and presented it to a number of arbitrators in the field of specialization To measure the extent of its success in preserving heritage through a questionnaire card that includes two axes: the simulation relationship to design and the relationship of simulation to heritage, and the following results have been reached: Implemented designs achieve simulation in design - implemented designs achieve heritage preservation - there are statistically significant differences between shirt designs according to the difference The ages - the superiority of designs inspired by the Coptic era, followed by the proposed designs from the Islamic era, followed by the designs proposed from the Pharaonic era. The research recommends the implementation of clothing and textile pieces that mimic those in different museums to preserve them from extinction - making use of clothing implemented in a simulation style for traditional clothes as a reference for theatrical and cinematic arts in historical works
