Abstract
The study aims to measure the effectiveness of a proposed program based on learning built-in to give students of the Department of Home Economics some skills of manual embroidery and crochet, and the study sample consisted of (90) students who were randomly divided into two control groups (45) and experimental (45).
Through the study, a (built-in) program was designed based on the merging between the use of the web and lectures and practical lessons to help in teaching some of the manual and crochet embroidery skills, and then measured the impact of the effectiveness of the proposed program on learning some of the manual and crochet embroidery skills.
To achieve the goals of the study, a cognitive test was used for both manual and crochet embroidery, as well as note cards for manual and crochet embroidery skills.
To verify the study hypotheses, the researcher used the descriptive survey method. And by conducting the statistical analysis of the results using the SPSS statistical packages program, it was concluded that there are no differences in the cognitive aspect of the manual embroidery skill and the cognitive aspect of crochet skill between the two study groups, which indicates the equivalence of the two groups before starting the application of the program. The experimental group (to which the merged program was applied) also proved superior to the control group (which was studied in the traditional way) in the cognitive aspect of the manual embroidery skills and the hook and shih as well as in the performance aspect of the manual embroidery and crochet skills
