Abstract
Studying and caring for childhood is considered to be an important criteria, in which a society's progress and prosperity is measured; thus, caring for childhood is in fact caring for the future of the whole nation. In this regard, since the child faces several learning difficulties at the age of 3 – 6 years, due to his inability to read and write, hence, this research aims at preparing a textbook of alphabets, words and figures, using the proposed Hand Embroidery Stiches in a way suitable for the child's mental perception at this age, as well as motivating the child's skills of knowledge and pronunciation. In this connection, the researcher prepared a textbook containing the 28 alphabets, in addition to words and figures illustrating the alphabets, and the book's cover. Furthermore, through a questionnaire and the statistical processing, it was found that there are statistically significant differences between the executed pages in achieving the (functional, performance quality level and aesthetic) aspects, according to the opinions of the arbitrators. In addition, there are statistically significant differences between the evaluation axes, and between the executed pages according to the opinions of the arbitrators. Moreover, there are statistically significant differences between the executed pages according to the opinions of the kindergarten female teachers. Finally, it was also found that there is a correlation between the order of the arbitrators and that of the kindergarten female teachers concerning the executed pages with regard to the aesthetics of Hand Embroidery
