Abstract
Any system of digital cinema works in accordance with the standards and the standard methods to present the final image quality specifications, this stage takes interest from those in charge of the industry as they have a significant impact on the receptivity of the viewer to the quality of the image.Projection Screen – with its huge size -  is an important part of the projection system, it also represents a significant factor that controls image quality, since this factor is linked by the amout of light reflected on the viewers seats with proper distribution.Due to the non-observance of the considerations that should be followed to properly control the digital cinema image quality before and throw the projection stage in the movie theatres in EGYPT, hence the imporatnce of studying the scientific and academic foundations that must be followed to control the quality of digital cinema projection in order to obtain the highest possible quality of the final projected image. Objective:The research aims to raise the awareness of the importance of controlling the factors affecting the quality of digital cinema projection in order to obtain the highest possible quality of the final projected image.  Methodology:The researchers followed the descriptive method to describe the production techniques and systems used in controlling the image quality of digital cinema before being  presented as a digital show.Results:By studying the academic foundations that must be followed to control the quality of digital cinema projection, we will obtain the highest quality digital cinema displayed image.The Reference Projector is one of the basic elements in judging and controlling the film's digital display quality.
