Abstract
Art is an expressive tool that transcends form to touch the soul and conscience. The music of the artist UmKulthum is one of the most prominent forms of this expression in Arab heritage, reflecting its poetic depth, melodic beauty, and emotional performance. With her lyrical repertoire and artistic legacy, UmKulthum has established a unique school of thought that continues to inspire generations in various fields of creativity. Based on this vision, this research seeks to draw inspiration for decorative textile designs and compositions inspired by the spirit of UmKulthum's music, transforming musical and rhythmic elements into visual patterns befitting classic furnishings with an authentic and luxurious character. The research aims to connect the auditory and visual, musical heritage, and textile design, by analyzing some of the artist's musical works and deducing visual connotations embodied in textile designs with an elegant, classic style. Working to find new innovations in woven designs by developing the mental and innovative abilities of students studying art and design will certainly lead to an increase in the creative process in design, which works to produce textile fabrics of high artistic and aesthetic value through which we can compete in local markets and global markets. This benefits the society by increasing economic growth , working to develop the taste and sense of society and producing new decorative elements that express the time period in which we live and translate our cultural and artistic thought and emphasize our own cultural and artistic identity in our current era.
