Abstract
The research aims to build a virtual electronic library to learn some design techniques on the mannequin (rose design, invisible effect design, design with non-traditional materials (paper, metal, plastic)) through what the library contains (five electronic books, interactive videos, pictures, hyperlinks), and to measure the effectiveness of the library in obtaining information and acquiring skills among library browsers for the five books, as well as measuring their opinions towards learning through the library. The research relies on the quasi-experimental approach based on the single-group design in measuring the information and skills it contains, in addition to the descriptive approach in measuring users' opinions about learning through the virtual electronic library. The research required building and applying the following tools (five cognitive achievement tests before/after - two skill tests before/after - an assessment scale to evaluate the two skill tests - a questionnaire to survey users' opinions towards learning through the virtual electronic library), and the validity and reliability of the tools were confirmed. The research sample is intentional from fourth-year students specializing in clothing and textiles who have basic information and skills about shaping on the mannequin, from users of The virtual electronic library browsers for learning design on the mannequin, their total number is (42) Single, and the results reached the possibility of building a virtual electronic library in design on the mannequin, and the existence of a statistically significant difference between the pre/post application with regard to cognitive achievement and skill acquisition in Favor of the post application for all five books contained in the library. The results also showed the positive opinions of users towards learning through the library, which confirms the effectiveness of the library in learning design on the mannequin about knowledge acquisition and skill acquisition included in the virtual electronic library in design on the mannequin.
