Abstract
Arab cultures have shown a deep appreciation for traditional clothing, excelling in its craftsmanship to embody the customs, traditions, and social characteristics of authentic Bedouin society. Saudi Arabia, with its vast geography and diverse tribes, stands out for its variety of traditional women's attire, distinguished by their unique designs and colors, reflecting the country's cultural and social diversity. Among these is the traditional "Thobe Al-Nashl," an ancient Gulf Arab women’s garment, particularly prominent in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia. Characterized by its wide and flowing design, it was traditionally worn by women during major occasions such as Eid celebrations and weddings. The study aims to explore women's evening wear accessories, focusing on Thobe Al-Nashl and its decorative features, and investigate hand-embroidery techniques. It seeks to innovate designs for evening wear accessories inspired by the artistic potential of Thobe Al-Nashl and evaluate the acceptance levels of these innovative designs among both specialists and consumers. Furthermore, the study implements the top-rated designs based on the feedback from its research sample. Adopting a descriptive-analytical methodology alongside an applied study, the research achieved the following: 12 innovative accessory designs for women’s evening wear were created, inspired by the formative elements of Thobe Al-Nashl and applied using hand-embroidery techniques. These designs received high acceptance levels from the research sample, and three designs with the highest approval ratings were implemented
