Abstract
Arab society has occurred in the last time cultural and civilizational changes and fundamental changes that changed the social lifestyle and living, which led to the creation of a full environment and a vital society that is compatible with the new life in the Arab world, and the interior design is always trying to express the originality of its history and the privacy of authentic Arab heritage and culture, adhering to identity The original in a distinctive and contemporary manner of the dimensions and technological concepts that enable it to preserve its heritage.
Education is considered one of the most important tools of the future and a container for human development activities. Today’s students are tomorrow’s leaders. In facing challenges, it is no longer sufficient to limit the education of university level students to acquire knowledge and facts only. Rather, the importance of developing their creative abilities and linking the collective memory of the past plays an important role in creating a sense of belonging to the people. For his society, popular heritage symbols practically exercise their authority in creating and preserving the identity of man and society as an entity in society and as individual and societal identities, especially where symbols are chosen to represent them and used in developing creative behavior. Technical skills in practical course outcomes.
Reaching the basics and requirements of the curriculum increases the development of students’ creative abilities and skills in linking the theoretical aspects that student’s study with the practical aspects, which confirms students’ achievement through their study of the course through follow-up, practical application and actual practice in the university environment through applying the students’ outcomes to the standards. Evaluation of the architectural influences on the three most important distinct styles of traditional Arab dwellings in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which include: (the Asiri style, the Najdi style, and the Hijazi style), and this gives students an indicator to measure their levels and develop their ideas. And their skills and employment according to their professional fields as one of the mechanisms entrusted to confront the repercussions of the knowledge society.
