Abstract
Patchwork art is one of the rich traditional arts that originated throughout history in various cultures, as it relies on assembling multi-colored and multi-shaped pieces of fabric in geometric or random configurations, this art represents a creative approach that combines originality and innovation, as this art aims to create a harmonious visual unity that reflects the diversity of materials and colors. In contemporary architecture, Patchwork is a source of inspiration for designing architectural facades that combine originality and modernity. Hence, the research question is as follows: -How can Patchwork Art inspire the design of architectural facades? -How can Patchwork art, with its traditional character and deep philosophy, contribute to creating architectural facades that express a renewed artistic identity and achieve a balance between heritage and modernity? -How can modern technology enhance the integration of Patchwork philosophy into the design of contemporary sculptural architectural facades? The research aims to shed light on the use of traditional arts such as Patchwork in the design of contemporary architectural facades, analyze the philosophical values underlying Patchwork and understand how these values can be applied in the design of sculptural architectural facades, highlight the role of Patchwork in providing a new design approach that can enhance the value of architectural facades by integrating artistic elements with architectural design, and develop innovative design strategies for sculptural architectural facades that achieve a balance between artistic aesthetics and modern architectural techniques.
