مشكلة البحث: نظرًا لأهمية اليد في العديد من المهام التي تتطلب التعامل مع الأشياء، فإن المعلومات التي تم جمعها في هذه الدراسة قد تساعد في تطوير نموذج قياسات بشرية لليد البشرية بسيط وسهل الاستخدام لجميع مصممي المنتجات. قدمت الأبحاث الحديثة مجموعة من الخصائص الأنثروبومترية الرئيسية ذات الصلة بإنشاء وتصميم النماذج الرقمية البشرية. ومع ذلك، فإن هناك افتقاد شديد لبيانات قياسات الجسم المتاحة التي تسمح للمصممين بالعمل بأكبر قدر ممكن من الفعالية والكفاءة. وكذلك فإن تصميم السلع الاستهلاكية للاستخدام التجاري بطيئً بشكل لا يصدق فيما يتعلق بتوظيف أبحاث القياسات الانثروبومترية للمستخدم. هدف الدراسة: الغرض من هذه الدراسة هو تحديد ووصف وتوضيح قياسات اليد وتأثيراتها وارتباطاتها بتصميم المنتج. ومن أجل تسهيل معرفة أفضل بأبعاد اليد وعلاقاتها، تفحص الدراسة أيضًا تشريح وبنية اليد البشرية لاستخدام قياسات ومعايير رئيسية حقيقية. لذلك، إضافة الى ذلك تم تخصيص دراسة متفحصة لطرق جمع البيانات الأنثروبومترية التي تغطي من التقنيات التقليدية إلى أكثر التقنيات تطوراً. من أجل توفير الراحة والاختيار الملائم للمستخدم تخلق الدراسة أيضًا ارتباطا بين المستخدم وأحجام المنتج. وعلاوة على ذلك، فإنها تستخلص التأثيرات والتداعيات على التصميم الخاصة بمجموعات المستخدمين المختلفة، وتعمم هذه التداعيات على مجموعة من المنتجات خلال دورة تطوير المنتج. المنهجية: استخدمت الدراسة كل من المنهج الوصفي التحليلي والاستنتاجي من أجل تطوير معايير تصميم المنتج بناءً على قياسات اليد وتنفيذها. نتائج الدراسة: تختتم الدراسة بتلخيص لجميع المتغيرات التي تربط قياسات اليد بتصميم المنتج والتطورات المستقبلية المحتملة في هذا المجال. ويجب أن يكون مصممو المنتجات قادرين على مطابقة واجهات المنتج بسهولة مع القدرات والكفاءات البشرية بفضل مجموعات البيانات المقدمة والمقارنات التي أجريت.
