Abstract
provide environments that accommodate the feelings of its occupants. Rather, it extends to achieving psychological needs, which in turn works to enhance the positive emotions of the occupants of the internal spaces. Emotion within interior design is not only a response to something objective, but also the realization of a kind of emotional connection between subject and object. Therefore, it is necessary to achieve emotional richness in our internal spaces that we coexist with, as it is an integral part of our daily life, through achieving the standards and determinants of emotional interior design and some contemporary design trends and their impact on human emotions towards the environment that deals with it and stimulates his behavior and his ability to remember the place And the consolidation of the connection between people and their private space, as there are places that remain stuck in the memory and conscience of each of us.
With the advent of the era of the industrial revolution, the architectural and design orientation became towards achieving the function and ignoring the emotional and sentimental side, although the concept of emotional design is not new and we find it realized in historical architecture, for example (ancient Egyptian architecture - Coptic architecture - Islamic architecture -..... .), but it has been overlooked in most of our modern designs. Hence, the research problem becomes clear: ignoring the emotional and sentimental aspect of contemporary interior design, how to benefit from emotional interior design to stimulate the ability to remember the place and consolidate the connection with it? The research also aims to: deduce the determinants of emotional interior design to enhance the positive emotions of individuals in the interior spaces to form and stimulate the senses of individuals to reach a state of emotional connection with different environments and remember them, The importance of the research lies in caring for the psychological aspect of man, as well as meeting his physical needs, as well as caring for his feelings and emotions. The research hypothesizes: Emotional interior design has the ability to enhance positive emotions in the process of spatial recognition and association memory. The research follows the descriptive analytical approach - the applied approach. Among the most important findings of the research: 1- Emotions are the expression of our feelings that appear according to the situations and experiences that a person goes through, and emotions are related to each of the personal experiences and social experiences within the internal space, which affect spatial perception and connection with it. Promote positive emotions for occupants of different environments
