Abstract
This era is characterized by rapid changes resulting from technological advances and information technology, Therefore, it became necessary to keep up with the educational process for these educational changes to cope with problems that may arise from them , Such as the explosion of knowledge and the population explosion , These changes have led to the emergence of the concept of e-learning, which leads us to transfer courses to traditional electronic Curriculums,
The e-learning a modern trends in the educational process in all its dimensions and has become a reality can not be ignored or dispensed with in any way.
E-learning aims to create an environment rich interactive applications based on computer technologies Through international information network (Internet) and enables the student to access to sources of education at any time and from anywhere.
The study deals with the preparation of electronic Curriculum In the leather industries principles That are taught of First year at the Faculty of Home Economics, Helwan University
And the extent of its effectiveness on academic achievement for students , split Curriculum to the three units, the first unit (Some of the concepts and types of skins) , The second unit (the foundations of leather industries design and used tools) , The third unit (methods of transportation design and implement of manual techniques).
The research sample was split and the number of 140 students into two groups:(The control group were 70 students has been teaching the course by the traditional manner, and other experimental group were 70 students, has been applied by the experiment, a subject of study electronic Curriculum , and measuring the level of academic achievement for students through the comparison between learning and using electronic Curriculum between learning in the traditional manner to the same Curriculum, the results have proved the existence of statistically significant differences in academic achievement for the experimental group which studied using electronic Curriculum.
recommendations:
Adopt a style of application of e-learning within universities, and work on the publication and dissemination of electronic courses for all college courses where the experiment led to understand and accommodate the largest class of students.
