Abstract
The current research addresses a proposed e-training program to learn handbag design using computer software to give trainees the skill of designing handbags using non-specialized computer programs (Photoshop program) and to take advantage of its advantages and use it to serve women's handbag design in a manner that mimics rapid developments in global fashion and to try to overcome the difficulty of obtaining specialized handbag design systems and programs to raise the level of trainees in design and develop their creative capacities. Statement of the problem: The problem can be formulated in the following questions: 1- What is the effectiveness of the proposed e-training program for learning the knowledge and skills of designing women’s handbags using computer programs? 2- What are the trainees’ opinions about the use of computer programs (Photoshop program) in designing women’s handbags? Significance: 1- Attempting to meet the needs of the labor market to provide the necessary knowledge and skills to qualify handbag designers to keep pace with the rapid technological development. 2- The proposed training program may help in developing the design capabilities of the trainees in the field of designing women's handbags using computer programs. 3- Assisting trainees in adapting non-specialized programs to carry out the functions performed by programs specialized in designing women's handbags. 4- Keeping pace with the modern technological development in the field of designing women's handbags by presenting a proposed site that can be used in training for self-learning. Objectives: 1- Determining the training needs of the trainees to meet the needs of the labor market. 2- Designing and preparing an e-training program to learn the knowledge and skills of designing women's handbags using computer programs. 3- Measuring the effectiveness of the proposed e-training program in the knowledge and skill achievement of the trainees. 4- Measuring the orientation of the trainees towards the proposed e-training program in learning to design women's handbags using computer programs (Photoshop). Methodology: The research followed the descriptive analytical approach to study the knowledge and skills included in the e-training program under study, as well as the quasi-experimental approach in the experimental study of the research (one experimental group), which depends on the pre and post tests, with the aim of identifying the effect of the independent variable (e-training program) on the dependent variable ( cognitive and skill levels). Conclusion: 1- The first hypothesis confirmed that there are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the trainees in the pre and post application of the achievement test in favor of the post application, as the proposed electronic training program helped the trainees in acquiring the knowledge and information contained therein. 2- The second hypothesis confirmed that there are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the trainees in the pre and post application of the skill test in favor of the post application, and this indicates the effectiveness of the proposed electronic training program in providing trainees with the skills included in its content. 3- The third hypothesis confirmed the formation of a positive attitude among the trainees towards the training program presented through the proposed website on the Internet.
