Abstract
The artist's interest in the of artistic works remains with the material as an important   in the planning process. It also contributes by its nature to the selection of methods that highlight their characteristics and aesthetic value through the interaction between the artist and the various materials.
The KSA is also rich in many environmental materials due to the diversity of its sources, ways of benefiting and implementing them to the multiplicity of cultures over the ages. Also, jewelry is important areas of handicrafts, as it is affected by the environments. Hence the problem of research in the extent of utilization of local environmental materials in highlighting the aesthetic values of contemporary jewelry crafts. The research was applied to some the Saudi community between the ages of 20-26. One of the results: that diversity, development and experimentation in dealing with local environmental materials provides an opportunity for a plurality of aesthetic values to enrich jewelry crafts, and it in the growth and development of Saudi crafts according to the developments of the times. The study recommended providing an many experimentations to enrich the field of artistic crafts.
