Abstract
This study concerns with inspecting the various types of live cells and tissues in addition to some viruses as it appeared under the electronic microscope in relation to formal and constructive aspects in addition to aesthetic and plastic values of it which also could be used in innovation of design to print contemporary textiles of upholstery. The images of these live cells, tissues and viruses have limitless plastic and aesthetic values which may be a source of inspiration and creative use of the designer.  This give the designer several solutions and open the door in front of a new age in designing field.  The problem of this study could be summarized in how to benefit from the plastic values of live cells, tissues and viruses as a source of innovation and creation which could be reflect on the artistic vision to create design of textiles printing (for upholstery) have modern character.
The study aims to inspect outputs of some modern technologies as the images of electronic microscope for live cells, tissues and viruses in relation to aesthetic and artistic aspects. Also the microscopic biological tissues are a source contributing in enrichment of the optical vision of the designer, this may help him to create new designs for modern  printed upholstery fabrics. In addition to find new plastic solutions derived  and inspired from the plastic values of the live cells, tissues and viruses. This aims to achieve distinctive aesthetic values for designing the modern printed upholstery fabrics.  The research uses the analytical descriptive method. The results of the research include that the study of microscopic images of cells and tissues with its values and aesthetics is an important sources leads to create designs suitable to print modern textiles (upholstery fabrics). The study of microscopic images of live cells, tissues and viruses is a new idea deserves to be part of studies and researches of arts related to print of textiles in general and the field of printing upholstery fabrics in special (subject of the study). This research also contributes in studying live cells, tissues and viruses under the microscope in enriching the artistic and optical visions of the designer. The microscopic  images of live cells, tissues and viruses consider new inspiration source contributes in developments designs and constructive forms due to it contains constructive systems in addition to the color and aesthetic  appearance of these images which give the designer new creations for upholstery fabrics. Also the researcher provided a group of designing ideas (about 9) inspired from the microscopic images of live cells, tissues and viruses to achieve high aesthetic values to design modern textiles (upholstery fabrics). The researcher also provided a group of designing examples printed by using the digital printing tool (about 9 applicable works).
