Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine noise level of different digital printing machines in Egyptian printing companies, More extensive studies are needed to determine the exact impact of noise on the workers. Technical and organizational measures in order to control noise and prevent noise exposure, and general hearing conservation program to protect workers, should be introduced in digital printing industry. The paper research followed the Experimental analytical methodology. The extent of noise in one of the Egyptian digital printing companies determined using Integrated precision Sound Level Meter (Class 1) QUEST type Sound Level Calibrator (Class 1) and sound software toolkit to calculate the collected data of sound pressure levels on equivalent A-level (dBA), the collected data performed inside two rooms in digital printing company, and measure token on two types of digital printing machines and other printing equipment. The A-weighted noise levels inside room1 were on Leq, Leq 8hr (80.4dB), whereas inside room2 (72.9dB), the paper suggested different recommendations and procedures for noise reduction, absorption and future procurement.
