Abstract
The study reads the vocabulary of reality in the field of the designer’s uses of the Internet in designing furniture in various spaces. How can the Internet be employed in the field of furniture design, and what are the negative and positive effects of the Internet as one of the means of communication on the design process of furniture, and whether this affects the capabilities and skills of the designer. From this standpoint, this research problem came to look at the reality of the impact of the use of the Internet in developing the skills and expertise of the designer in the field of furniture design. Therefore, the study followed the descriptive analytical approach that is concerned with finding opinions, as it is an appropriate approach for this type of studies, so it designed a questionnaire to explore the opinions of designers about the method of benefiting from the Internet and the most important positive and negative effects of the Internet on the designer and the design process for furniture. .The results of the study confirmed that most designers use the Internet to find out the latest scientific, technical and cultural developments in the field of furniture design, to identify proper methods in addressing design problems, to follow up and purchase specialized electronic newspapers and magazines, as well as to follow ads on goods, programs and services by individuals and institutions. She also indicated that online communication in the field of specialization expresses modernity and contemporaryity and has implications for human life, and develops the skills of the designer in the design process, as it is a positive influence in the design process of furniture for the specialized designer, as it provides wide selection opportunities for furniture designs that suit the inclinations The desires of the designer and the user. It also helps to bridge the point of view of designers in the field of specialization all over the world. The study also confirmed that the Internet helps the designer in the field of training and self-education at an appropriate time and with high efficiency, as it provides flexibility in time and place and the speed of obtaining information
