الذاتية هي جانب رئيسي في التصميم كعمل فني، وهي تعبر عن أصالة أسلوب المصمم، والذي يتشكل من خلال مساراته واندماجه الابداعي مع الوسيط المادي أثناء التنفيذ. يتطلب تصميم المنسوجات المعلقة المطبوعة بشكل خاص درجة عالية من التفرد والشخصية والحس الفني الذي ينعكس بشكل أساسي من خلال الرؤية الذاتية للمصمم وتفاعله مع الخامة النسجية. وتوفر تقنيات الطباعة اليدوية إمكانيات هائلة لتمكين هذا التفاعل بما يحمله من ملامح ذاتية وفرادة المصمم. ومن ناحية أخرى، أحدثت تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي ثورة هائلة في مجالات الفن والتصميم من خلال تيسير العمليات، التغلب على المشكلات المعقدة، وتحسين الإنتاجية والكفاءة. ونظرا لحاجة مصمم طباعة المنسوجات إلى مواكبة التطورات التكنولوجية وتطويعها لتحقيق أقصى استفادة ممكنة، تناقش الدراسة الحالية موازنة و دمج الرؤية الذاتية والإبداعية للمصمم مع ماتتيحه تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي من إمكانيات واسعة، حيث ترسخ الباحثة نهجًا مبتكرا في هذا الصدد في مجال تصميم المنسوجات المعلقة المطبوعة، يعتمد هذا النهج على إنشاء تصميمات مبتكره باستخدام أساليب طباعة المنسوجات اليدوية، بحيث تمثل هذه التصميمات المصدر أو الركيزه الاساسية التي تعكس ذاتية المصمم وتآلفه مع النسيج كوسيط مادي، والتي بالاعتماد على تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي يمكن توليد عدد هائل من الأفكار والمعالجات المشتقة منها. يتيح النهج المطبق في هذه الدراسة الحفاظ على الرؤية الذاتية الأصيلة للمصمم والاستفادة من إمكانيات الذكاء الاصطناعي لتوفير الوقت والجهد مع تحسين الإنتاجية في تصميم المعلقات النسجية المطبوعة.
