The research starts with presenting the problem of it. Which is the neglected state of the downtown Cairo area, especially Qasr Al-Nil Street. Its aims are to develop Qasr al-Nil Street area by a theoretical and architectural proposal that presents a civilized form for the archaeological and most important area in the center of Cairo. The methodology of the research is by the reference, analytical, comparative, and plastic approach. Then knowing the general definition of achieving humanitarian standards in urbanization and the foundations of sustainable urban coordination and its definition. Then a historical overview of the street and its origin continued its name and extension. Then an overview of the importance of the street that it is underway historically. A study of the humanitarian considerations proposed has taken as a design indicator in the study area. These planning proposals can be identified in several points. The first is in public transportation. As well as for public transport stations is to re-study the locations of them in vital places and link them to the uses of the land there, the provision of parking spaces, also for people of determination, elements of coordination the streets network linked to the open squares, the provision of bike paths and parking. As well as, proposal for the network of pedestrian paths and connected squares, the improvement of buildings and the use of afforestation in the street. Then comparison between Qsr-ELNile in its current condition and one of the modern international streets, then conclusions and recommendations.
